FABRICATION

Fabrication of steel members and related works are carried out in our factory with advanced machineries like CNC plasma cutting machine, bandsaw and plate rolling machine under the supervision of skilled and experienced floor in-charge. Our workshop can accommodate variety of fabrications like: built-up, hot rolled, pre engineering, piping, staircase, handrails, etc. all up to 700 MT monthly.

The steel fabrication procedure covers the requirements governing the selection of required grades and sections and includes the activities as follows: More (1) Shop / fabrication drawing preparation as per the approved drawings; (2) Procurement of raw materials as per specification and drawings; (3) Marking and cutting the raw materials as per drawings; (4) Bending and holes, carried out as per drawing; (5) Assembly of structures and welding process monitored and carried out in accordance with standards; (6) Quality, Material & Dimensional Inspection as per relevant codes and standards; (7) Surface Preparation – Blasting as per SSPC procedure, while Galvanizing and Protective Coating shall be as per project specification; (8) Material Dispatch with proper protection and mark no.

INSTALLATION & ERECTION

Installation of Structural Steel for industrial and commercial buildings has been a core focus and business of the company since its creation in 1984. YMS’ techniques or method involved in the industrial erection either structural steel, pipe lines, equipment erection, etc. covers activities as follows: More (1) Designing of temporary supports and scaffoldings; (2) Preparation of method statement as per design; (3) Preparation of detailed erection drawings using advanced software like TEKLA; (4) Conducting safety and quality meeting for skilled and non-skilled workers as per project safety policy and quality policy; (5) Supply of calibrated lifting equipments and tools required as per site conditions and schedule; (6) Erection; (7) Align erected members and torque bolts; (8) Fixing of claddings, flashings and gutter; (9) Touchup Painting All these activities are monitored and controlled by skilled and experienced team leaders with highest level of safety. CORROSION PROTECTIVE COATING

This procedure covers the requirement governing the selection and application of the coating system to be used on the exterior surfaces of manufactured products including structural steel, crane rails, piping and equipment for onshore or coastal locations and internal coating of such equipment when required – that includes adherence to :

FIREPROOFING

Applying a certification listed fireproofing system to certain structures allows these to have a fire-resistance rating. YMS Engg.’s team of specialty contractors and craftsmen have extensive experience applying a wide range of fireproofing materials and systems, including:
Intumescent Fireproofing: These coatings are used for protection of steelwork which when exposed to flame or intense heat decompose and bubble More into a foam which protects die substrate and prevents the flame from spreading.
